I’m prepared to announce the title to my upcoming novel today.
A few weeks ago, I reported on Facebook that my manuscript had been submitted to my editor for her review. She finished her reading a few days ago and I’ve been communicating with her over the weekend. While there’s some work to be done, her reaction has been extremely positive.
I thought I had been working on the manuscript for over two and a half years, but I found an earlier draft the other week and it turns out I’ve been working on it for over three years.
It was great to receive such wonderful feedback from her after working on the manuscript all this time.
I’ll get a better handle on the amount of rewriting I have to do when I receive the marked-up manuscript tomorrow and begin the process of review.
One of the things my editor said she loved about my work was the proposed title. I developed it a few years back after I decided to drop an initial title. Since then, the title has endured the test of time and the feedback from some early readers.
The title of the novel has been tentatively set as Saving Babe Ruth. You can read more about the novel here.
I’m extending a sincere thanks to all the kind folks who continue to support my efforts.
